Me too! Luckily I caught my mistake as I was sewing it together!

Such a pretty block and love your new FQs. I'm making other CW blocks as I await the next block pattern. I've started a quilt for my friend's birthday the end of September. I'm going to make extra blocks from some of the patterns from this BOW, and I've just been playing around with some other blocks I like, as I see them online or in BlockBase. Here are three blocks for in "Gloria's Birthday Quilt." They are Farmers Daughter, Chinese Coin/AK Homestead, and Goshen Star. Mind if I copy your Double Star block? I'm sure I have fabrics that are pretty close to what you chose. Your block just seems to shout "Include Me, too!" Janet

Am I missing something? I have had no notices from this BOW since I last posted on 7/22. I expected to see some new #14 Wild Geese blocks by now. Here is my block. I am also posting a block I designed (PaintMeJudy helped as I kept sending her arrangements and she helped me choose the final layout.) I am making two of each of these blocks, one for my BOW and one like it for Gloria's quilt. My #14 is not perfect, some cut off points, but it will quilt out! LOL Reminds me of the old song, "Close Enough to Perfect," by Alabama. My blocks are not perfect but its close enough for me! Hope you all like my new block, too. I named it Halo.
