Thanks, Mary. I'm ready to wrap it up and move back onto my Pony Club blocks. Gotta get a few quilts quilted first.

I'm sure this group will most likely do another Piecing the Past QAL together. When was her next one supposed to start?

    Question

Since last week I got two different types of blocks done. I made 4 from one and 3 from the other.

I have 3 more types to go from the Rest and Refreshing pattern. Hopefully I get to post some pictures soon.

Right now I have 59 blocks from the Rest and Refreshing patterns. Does anyone know how many I would need, for a Cal King 115 inches or 120 inches quilt, if I add the sashing and put them on point?

I will probably just add a plain border 6 inches or so.

For some reason I think I might need 61 blocks but then I might be totally off too. I do not mind some extra blocks so I will still make three of each of the remaining blocks I still have to go.

Oh My Anna you sure took on a big job with a calif king quilt. Wish I could see all your blocks. Sorry I can't help with the math for you.

This blocks looks very delicate. The blue star points are just the right color to stand out. Great job Connie.

I just finnished this block pattern too. Because of the fabrics mine doesn't look as crisp. I love how yours turned out.

So am I the only one lagging? I will keep posting as I am working on this quilt.

I still have to make three more types of blocks, figure out on how to make it into a Cal King 120x120 or slightly smaller, decide on sashing and border fabrics.

I hope some more of you will post to this thread as you are working on your blocks and or quilt.

Did anyone else plan to make a much larger quilt from this pattern?

I hope someone can help me with the size increase and number of blocks needed.

Working on it, the pictures. I got one of each block on my display wall and the others are on a big stack. Making it has been ok because I have a fabric cutter and these blocks lend themselves really well to being die cut. Also making 3 of each versus 1 has been less work than making each block different. I had FQs of Jan patek Hawthorn Ridge and this has been the perfect pattern to use them. My husband is very enthusiastic and supportive. He likes the fabrics, pattern and the size quilt I am making. Being on this thread was very helpful to get them done. I really need to thank everyone for keeping me on track.
