Jane mentioned wanting to see some tops so here's my first one!

Very nice Jan! The colors are stunning. I love the brown fabrics. They make the blocks pop.

Anna your blocks are just beautiful. Jan your quilt is soooo pretty. I also am a big fan of browns,I think that may be why I made this bow.

Awesome progress, everyone! I haven't sewn for a few days but hope to get most of tomorrow in my sewing room.

I found out today that I will be busy running a great niece back and forth to work over the weekend plus I will have her 2 younger sisters Sunday and Monday afternoon and all day Tuesday so I will need to figure out some take along projects. I had some set aside but I sorted them last week because my niece said the girls were covered. NOT! Lol!

I am super privileged to be asked to help and cherish the time with my great nieces.

Anna your browns are beautiful. This quilt called for a lot of browns. Glad I love brown.

Anna, your blocks look wonderful, very Civil War-esk. Your quilt will be stunning. Did you shop in your stash or get a civil war package?

OH MY!!! I showed my top to my neighbor today and she said it looks "Native American"! I hope not... I wanted it to be antique looking! All my fabrics are Civil War, but I guess I can see that it might have a Native American flair. She's not a quilter, but now she has me second guessing my choices. I have more of the border fabric, but not the center brown fabric. I have lots of other blocks made. Wondering if I should choose different blocks, find another background and make another top for Gloria. I chose a solid brown for the back and I'm waiting for the batting to arrive in the mail early next week, so I could probably come up with a different top this weekend... What do you think? Honest opinions wanted, please!!!
