Those are some pretty blocks Marcia (Battle Axe). I wish I had chosen your colors.

Maybe I should have chosen your theme, DottyD. Yours are beautiful and colorful too and I don't have a Christmas quilt for my bed. "smile"

Yes, I was afraid we were going to get the week 19 instructions again. She sent them out earlier, by about week 4 or 5? And I have already made mine, so I guess I get a week off from this quilt! Won't bore you with my little 16 patches. I believe I've shown them before, anyway.

I'm with you sewbizgirl, I was so ready to finish. My 4 patch squares are done and in zip lock bags. I have time this week, not next week. I'm afraid to do it on my own, that usually ends up in disaster.

Friend and I went to a LQS some distance away on Sat. and made some major purchases. I've never used quilting fabric by Blank, but bought 3 colors and then went home and ordered a color she did not have. I think I'll look at a Tennessee Waltz.

DottyD, what are you planning on using for the sashing? Will you go dark or neutral? Would look great either way.

I thought about finishing on my own, too. Still thinking about it. I wish she had sent out both week 19 and 20. Oh well, can't very well look a 'gift horse' in the mouth, now can we?

Blank makes some great fabric! They have some beautiful prints and the quality is right up there with Kaufman and Moda. Have fun with your quilt, Marcia.

Did you all get the email notice from Debbie about the Fall BOW? I got it today. After seeing it, I have decided to bow out. It's lovely but just doesn't appeal to me to make it. It's a big one, too... 90"x90". Those of you that want to work on this together might want to start a new thread for it.

I've really enjoyed our little "community", and I'm still looking forward to seeing everyone's finished Rest and Refreshing quilts, which I hope you will post here in this thread. It's been fun!

I signed up but will probably just do the star blocks and put them on point. This time I plan a smaller quilt. We'll see.

    Number 18 is finished! Yeah!

I love this block. I moved my needle 2 clicks to the right. It was big enough to trim slivers off and I am happy.
