Pretty blocks and great doodling, Kass.... I was playing with the units last night and one of the ways I came up with was pretty much this block. (There are only so many things you can make of these pieces.) Now I'm looking forward to sewing my geese again (the right way!) and making the blocks.
I still think she will reveal tomorrow. It's kind of a tradition with her to reveal on NYD.

Busy busy busy, everyone! I love seeing all the pretty fabrics come together to play!
Kass, that doodling has a lot of movent!

Everyone's blocks look great! Kass - I love your "doodle" as well as both your "Bonnie" blocks. These units are fun to play around with. I think even if someone "messes" up and flips some blocks around the quilt will still look good - the first time I laid the block out I flipped the geese units (2nd picture) but I think it looks ok too.
I have all of Clue #6 sewn (still need to trim). I have all of my Clue #7 Geese paired up and a few sewn.
But I could not resist making a block.
WOW - is it ever lumpy. Someone - maybe on the FB Quiltville page - said they pressed their geese units TOWARDS the geese rather than towards the wings - that would have made this block much flatter. I know a lot of people press seams open and that would make the block flatter too. Too late to go back and switch how the Geese are pressed but I am toying with doing another color way and will definitely press differently.
So maybe tomorrows Clue will tell us how those pesky rectangles fit in? As mysteries go, this is a pretty good one (although I admit I am one who flips to the back of the book to see Who Done It).

I have always loved the folded corners block and this one has the effect of having a folded corners inside a folded corners (at least in some of the color / fabric choices)

Hopefully this isn't "guessing" or "ruining" the mystery, but what do you think are the chances of Bonnie having an alternating block? I'm looking at the size of these + the amount and, unless we have pretty wide pieces sashing or these are on point, I am think that is what might be happening. I'm not a maths genius though. If that is the case, we probably have more little units to make; which supports Bonnie's statement that we will be using more aqua soon.
Sorry, just thinking out loud! Hopefully I'm not spoiling the fun for anyone. I don't want to be a party-pooper!
