givio, those browns are going to be working in 2 projects ..... lol ..... Bonnie's mystery and my "forever" basket quilt. Can't take much credit for those corals I just went to Whittles and ordered their coral/melon mystery FQs.

peaceandjoy, your periwinkle and geranium fabrics are beautiful. It's interesting to see Bonnie's chips with those colors, shows how everything is relative.

Whittles really does a nice job with the mystery fabrics! I wonder if any of their employees does the mystery.

Ivy, you have us all in suspense waiting to see the photo. I was one that started the Grand Illusion and then bailed as I didn't like it at all, so I'm especially interested in how you improved upon the pattern.
Robin and Sync, both of you have great colors.

Sync, I started a "basket quilt" a couple of years ago-- it was a Boom that I did here on Quilting Board. I've got the blocks, but never sewed them together. Would you post a picture of what your basket quilt looks like?

Ivy, I'm curious what it looks like too!

I love your color selection, peaceandjoy! That is going to make a beautiful quilt.

Your deep browns look so warm, Sync. I'm looking forward to seeing how Bonnie plays the browns in the quilt. Should be fun!

Only two weeks to go Everyone ready?

givio, the baskets quilt I'm working on is Pearl Pereira's Bountiful Baskets quilt. Here's a picture of the 3 baskets I just finished tonight.

Such beautiful flower basket, Sync! What method are you using for appliqué?

Here's what I have been working on trying to finish before the MQ starts. The blocks are from the Fall themed swap we had here on the QB this past summer.

    Pretty baskets, Sync!

Great looking Fall sampler, NZ. Makes you want to make some hot chocolate and watch the leaves fall.

    NZquilter, that's wonderful!

I am so excited about the fabrics I just received. I've always ended up with mostly tonals for the mystery, so I made a point of looking for prints that could work. I'm not sure these all will work, but I love the mix of textures.
