I finished someone else's UFO
Our Project Linus has a big giveaway table - in June, someone put 12 star blocks, the remaining fabric and the backing. Looked like a stack and wack that they got frustrated with because none of the points matched. I used their fabric for scrappy sashing, cornerstone, borders and corner border..
Our PL coordinator is doing a UFO challenge next month (your own or someone else). So I threw it on the longarm last night and quilted it up. Not super happy with the pattern, but done is better than perfect. Today will be binding day. Size 51 x 66.

I like to join in on all of the fun. The first part of this year has been crazy busy with a lot of family related commitments, but things have returned more to normal since the end of June. In between all of the family related things going on in my life, I was able to get four quilt projects completely finished, and have about 5 more ufos that I want to finish either this year or early 2024.
Happy Quilting. Hugs Kathryn

Here's a little (54" x 60") quilt I made from an online swap. The blocks arrived last fall, and I finished putting it together in Dec. I quilted and bound it this week. It's going to a program for children entering foster care, along with several knitted hats. I have another long time UFO that I'm binding this week. Finally moving ahead!
