Sounds like everyone is going great so far! I'm almost done with the applique for my UFO. Yesterday I wanted to start a new project and I heard DH's voice in my head asking me if I should be working on a UFO instead, grr! 3 bits of applique, 1 already done. Then 4 seams, and voila, quilt top 6 years in the making! :D

Keep up the good work everyone!

Welcome aboard. Sounds to me that it should count for Jan. It is finished and it is lovely and colorful. What pattern did you use?[/quote]

It's a pattern called Slide Show. I don't recall off the top of my head who it's by but it's one of the ones that is a single pattern in the little zip lock bags rather than a big book.

Wildyard, no problem with how big it is, love to see the pics. :^) Vicky, that is such a bright and lovely quilt and I agree that the sashing really wows the quilt.

Thank you all for the compliments. My daughter's friend wanted orange and purple. I used every shade I could find with orange but I thought it needed some greens as well. Except for the white all the colors are leftover scraps from a quilt I just quilted last night called Prism from the Fons and Porter magazine. I actaully finished the one from the leftovers before the original quilt. Funny how that worked out.

Beautiful purse. Congrats on getting one UFO out of the way and a pretty bag to carry as well.
