Know it's late in the year, but I'm up for the challenge. Am getting ready to pick up a hand appliqued transportation quilt (queen size) that I started for DH and have yet to finish quilting. Project for April. We'll see how it goes. I may be one UFO a trimester. LOL

Please count me in!! I have already started work on one WIP for the year, and need to keep myself challenged to continue finishing the darn things! I am pretty sure I can never use all the fabric I already have in one lifetime (which does not stop me from buying more, of course!!), but I WOULD like to finish at least MOST of my UFO's!!!

Hello everyone--it is wonderful to get back on here and find that others have joined the challenge as well as seeing super quilts that have been finished because of such challenge!
Like everyone else, this thread is a great way for me to keep focused and get going on quilts that otherwise would be still "on the back burner"(or should I say shelf) and I look forward to seeing all your quilts here. Hopefully some of mine will be coming soon--I am at present working on my April one which is a double/queen that I have pieced but put off quilting because I knew it would take a long, long, long .....long time to quilt!
So thank you all for keeping me focused and challenged as well as giving me a "feast for the eyes" in your lovely quilts! Iris

A bit late in the day, please can I join in? I'm doing a ufo challenge elsewhere, but there's not much chat, so it would be fun to be part of this one.
I'm a chronic non-finisher - like so many others, I finish the top then move onto the next exciting project. The lack of finished work was getting me down, so I resolved to spend this year finishing some of them, one a month. It's been a real battle so far: life got in the way, and when it didn't I'd find I needed fabric or batting or thread, or my machine would play up. BUT - I've very nearly finished the top on my avatar. Just have to sew the binding down. Typically, this is the moment I take a break - an online group I'm part of is doing a Mystery this weekend, and I decided I deserved a reward and to try some piecing on my new Featherweight. It's a small, simple project, so I WILL get back to the ufos early next week. I'm already so excited at the prospect of having a finished quilt - it's been a long time.
There's more about the challenge I've set myself on my blog

A big welcome hug to all who are joining us now! It's never too late to jump in and get started on finishing up the UFO's. We are happy to have you all with us. Can't wait to see photos of your finished projects. I might even have some to show too. Smilessssssss...
