Why yes, I suppose it could be! But actually it is purple because the flannel was hugely discounted as I remember... LOL

Thank you for the compliments and yes that second one is a split 9 patch. I cut them but didnt turn the 2 corners, I just put all the pieces in a basket and mixed them all up before stitching back together

They are lovely. Scrappies are my favorites. I like the D4P.
And isn't that last one a Chinese Coins or a variation of it?
I have made that pattern a few times. It always looks nice and uses up lots of scraps.

Being a scrap lover, your quilts are wonderful! I like the middle one the best, and might have to give that a try.

My friend and I were sewing the other day, and my machine developed some sort of problem. I will have to get it in to be fixed. Anyhow, none of my other machines give me a decent 1/4", so in a way, this is a good thing. Looks like you will be seeing a bunch of finished quilts as my February UFO's. I will be working with the LA till my machine comes back.

Whinnytoo, those are beautiful quilts. i never took the time to do the braid, but you did an awesome job on it. Maybe after I finish my UFOs, I can dig into my scraps and get them done. Love the D9P. Like the mix up. great job!!!!!!!
