Thank you all for your kudos. And yes, Ranger, you are so right. Finishing a piece does launch you right into tackling the next one and believe me, I do have many to choose from! It seems that for a few years, life just got in mine and DH's way. What with an out of state move, twice and caring for an elderly parent....I had to put my quilting away for a while. However, as a quilter you can never resist going to a quilt store or show and buying a new project (it always makes you feel better I have many....it is like sending a child into a candy shop! LOL

The Sunbonnet Sue has been a UFO for a long time.
But what a treasure! I would LOVE to own it.
About the second quilt......back in the 1990s, I saw a quilt in a magazine that was called...I think....Snakes in the Valley.
I wanted to make it then but couldn't figure out how it went together (no pattern given).
It looked somewhat like your quilt and now it seems to me that it is a variation of the Drunkard's Path pattern.
Is that the pattern you've used?
I may pull out all my old mags and look for that quilt pic. Not that I need another project. LOL!
But now I may be able to understand the quilt layout.

Great job on the finishesSunlitenSmiles. Those are awesome. I have a Sunbonnet Sue to quilt so now I know what I can do with it to finish it. Yes, started it from a swap and now needs finished. These swaps on here are so fun, just don't realize when you get the blocks back you need to make a quilt. I have four more quilts from last year to assemble and get quilted from swaps. The monthly swap is still a wip. Hopefully I get to post tomorrow on some finished projects. Pray I get them done. I am only at 4 done this month and I need to be at 10 to keep with the plan.
