    Default Alton Brown's salsa recipe

I have made this twice already...It is delicious!

    http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/a...sa-recipe.html

I used only 1 dried chile and 2 jalapenos instead of what was called for.

While I love spicy foods, sometimes it does not settle on my stomach very well.
And I didn't add the chili powder to taste as suggested.

Sounds like what I make only without hot peppers...want to taste the food, not destroy my taste buds or stomach lining!

I only add half of the chilies called for. I add the 2 roasted jalapenos and about 3/4 of one of the dried Ancho chilies and no chili powder.

I take what is leftover and simmer some chicken tenders in it until the chicken is really tender. Then warm some corn tortillas, shred some cheese and roll it up and enjoy!
