Yesterday i decided to make apple crisp and peeled the apples cooked them in butter and sugar. Added the spices put the apples in the pan..Then i here the puppy gagging. I run into the room to see him throw up a baseball size wad of thread...OMG... on my new wool rug no less....:(...so i clean it up go wash my hands. And get back to the topping add it put the applecrisp in. It smelled great...but when i took it out and tried it i realized i forgot to but sugar in the topping.....i could have cried. My son inlaw happily took the whole pan and said "oh mom its ok , I will flip it upside down and put ice cream on it"...I get side tracked like this all the time...what is wrong with me?

The only thing wrong with you is you are human. We all do it.

Nothing wrong with you. We all get in that situation now and then. I've done it too. In my case it's usually a cat and a hair ball. Yuck.

You have the same thing we all have. It's called life and sometimes it just gets in the way. Take it from me, it does not get any better as you get older but you just have to learn to roll with it. I have learned to laugh at the goofy things I do. I had to. If I didn't I would be crying all the time.

You just have to laugh it off... life happens

2 years ago I was mixing up a double batch of pumpkin bread, phone rings  and I go back to making the bread. The next day, everyone grabs a piece of the bread and starts making faces... I forgot the sugar too LMBO It was REALLY bad... My nephews took it to give to their friends as a "gag" gift.... gotta love 'em :lol::lol:

One time DH made cookies and used baking powder instead of baking soda, or vice versa - you know how they taste when you do that!!
Just so happened an encyclopedia salesman came to visit, he served the cookies to him and neither one said a thing.

If anyone said anything, I would just shrug and blame it on the dog.
