3 ingredients - very good
Empty 1 envelope Betty Crocker oatmeal cookie mix into a large bowl
then cut in 1 stick real butter until the lumps of butter are about 1/2.
Put 6 to 8 peeled & sliced apples in a greased 9 pan then spoon oatmeal mixture on top.
Bake 30 - 35 minutes at 350 until top is golden. Serve with whipped cream.

We went to the apple farm last weekend and I got a new-to-me apple. The last name is gold but I forgot the first name. Not Jonagold or Golden Delicious. Can't think! They are tart and will hold up well. Wonderful for baking. I made my sis an apple pie for her birthday b/c that's what she loves and it came out great.
I grew up in upstate NY and the apples are so good. Not so good here in Ohio as a rule. I don't think it gets cold enough.
