The applecake recipe from GA calls for 1 cup shredded coconut. Since my husband hates coconut can you suggest something else or should I just add more nuts and apples?

Just leave the coconut out or you can add more nuts. I have a DD that does not eat coconut either. Funny, she will eat it from a fresh cut one.

Ohhh and my hubby loves apples - - Thank you.

And while on the site I found a neat recipe for Bbq'd potato (skins, too) - I love potatoes - its what you do to them that makes them so sinful !! :-)
