Funny you should ask. A few days ago, I pulled out my "Daisy Doughnut Factory" that my little sister bought me 40?? yrs ago. I haven't used it for quite some time and thought I might make some. I was just sitting here thinking I should get off my rear and whip some up! I will let you know if it still works. From what I remember, they came out tasting really close to the same.

There are many baked & fried donut recipes on the King Arthur Flour site. Love their baked cinnamon donuts. Use their products all the time. Only regret that we no longer live close enough for a quick trip to replenish the baking larder!!! Fun place to visit & help line is great.

I use to make donuts in the oven when my kids were little but can't remember how I did it or if I had a recipe.I remember having a donut maker that formed the donut dough. You just pushed the plunger and out it came shaped like a donut.
At that time I had a German Shepard. I went to answer the door, had the pan of donut dough ready to put in the oven, came back and the pan was empty, he had eaten all of that raw dough..
