Baptist Beans
2-16 oz. cans Bush's Baked Beans
1-32 oz. can Van Kamp's Pork n' Beans
1 lb. Kielbasa
1 lb. ground beef
1 ½ c. Hickory smoked Bar-B-Q sauce
1 Tbsp. Yellow mustard
2/3 c. Brown sugar
¼ c. Molasses
1 Medium onion chopped
Over a medium heat, brown onion in some olive oil, add beef and Kielbasa. Cook until liquids are reabsorbed into the meat.
Drain juice off beans. When meat is done, add all ingredients together and mix well. Bake in a large baking pan, uncovered, at 400º for 1 hour (in a gas oven). In an electric oven, cook at 350º for 1 hour.
Beans will be brown around the sides of the pan.
This can be made up the day before and baked an hour before serving. Serves 16-20
