These beans are great for a Labor Day picnic. They really aren't called Bob's Beans - Bob was the one who brought them the first time I had them...

    Bob's Beans

    ½ lb bacon
    ½ lb hamburger
    1 medium onion chopped
    ¼ cup white sugar
    ½ cup brown sugar
    ¼ cup ketchup
    1 tsp dry mustard
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can butter beans
    1 can pork & beans

Brown meat and onion, drain beans, combine
    350 1 hour

I have the same recipe... It's called Cowboy Bean's here :) Very good too and this reminds me it will be time to be making it again with Fall around the corner!

I have the same recipe and it is called Calico Beens.
But since I now live in TEXAS, I will change it to Cowboy Beans.

My Aunt June made these beans for years-Inow have the recipe and our entire family loves them. We even put it in a family cookbook last year and gave her credit.
