I make most of my bread and when it starts getting stale I make bread pudding. I also use regular milk and eggs with sugar to taste. Sometimes fruit added. My favorite is with a little brown sugar, nuts and chocolate chips. Best warm with ice cream.

The condensed is just what it says. It's a sweet thick condensed milk with sugar added, it is wonderful, (reminds me of peanut butter consistency). This is the kind of milk shipped to countries that don't have fresh milk.

Evap. milk is the same consistancy of fresh milk but more concertrated and has a lovely taste. I use it in my mashed potatoes.

actually evap milk is milk with half the water taken out. We use it to cream coffee. Thicker than regular milk, more like half and half in consistency, but not as much fat as half and half.

Holland American has a wonderful recipe on their site for the Bread Pudding they serve on the Alaska cruises. Maybe others but that is the only one I have been able to go on.
I think that the ones on the board are probably alot easier.
