Brown Sugar and Black Pepper Bacon

1 pound peppered bacon, sliced (available in custom meat or retail case of your market)
    3 T. (a handful) dark brown sugar

Preheat oven to 375. Place bacon on broiler pan on center rack of oven. Cook 8 to 10 minutes, then remove from oven. Sprinkle bacon with sugar and return to oven. Cook another minute or two until bacon is a dark reddish brown and crisp. Remove and serve warm.

I love any sweet bacon, maple, brown sugar. I don't eat salt, so the sweetness takes away the salty taste. I shouldn't be eating it at all since I have high blood pressure, but it's so good.
