Thanks for sharing --can't wait to try this out. I too do not like the smell left after microwave popcorn.

Thanks, I will have to try it sometime. I still have an 'old fashioned' Air POPPER. I bought it used at Goodwill years ago for a few bucks. I am cheap so I wouldn't buy the packaged microwave popcorn, but I also think it's healthier to make air popped.

I don't like the smell before it is popped! It smells moldy to me! Thanks for the good tip. I knew there had to be a better way. I found my old microwave popper from about 20 years ago and the corn melted into the bowl. Guess the ovens are more powerful than they used to be!

Did you know that you can take a whole ear of popcorn and put it in a brown paper sack and put it in the microwave and it will pop? Its fun for kids to do. I always try to pick up some ears at the fall farmers markets.

Thanks for sharing this cool idea and save $ for popcorn. We eat a lot of it.

    Hey Orville!
Are you listening to what these ladies have to say?

There is a way to get better tasting popcorn - so that must mean you need to improve on the flavor. Those preservatives we smell and taste are not to our liking!

    Get with it, pal!
