    Hi from Central Iowa too!
I use the recipe on the back of the Rice, Corn or Wheat Chex cereal box.

Are you looking for sweet or savory?

I use the recipe on the box, too, but I add 1 t. garlic powder. Just made two batches yesterday!

I add a lot of small crackers to mine and only the wheat chex, the other crumble up too fast. And pretzels, and a can of mixed nuts.

The Farming Pastor’s Wife on YouTube, has a tutorial on Fire Crackers. I am intrigued and wonder if anyone has done them. It seems unbelievable that they come out crispy without baking but I might try them for Christmas gifts ( in a glass jar) if a batch works out.
