    Default cherry tomatoes

I came home from a 10 day vacation to tons of ripened cherry tomatoes. I can't use them all immediately, so I'm wondering... Can I freeze them? And if so, how? Whole? And how should I use frozen cherry tomatoes? Thanks for any help or recipes you can give.

I buy several of the small containers and freeze them. I wash, dry, and put in freezer whole. I don't peel them. They make good sauce when simmered When thawed put in countertop blender and then simmer. I use an immersion blender while they are simmering.

Skins usually come off after they thaw. Then I throw them away.
