Yum... I will have to try this after we get done with the Christmas bread.

I made ten loaves and gave them all as gifts this year. For the special ones they got the bread baked in a pretty colored glass loaf pan. The others got the bread in the pretty disposable pans. I added the recipe with each on a laminated recipe card. I got thank you calls almost immediately.

Has anyone tried making this without regular granulated sugar? Subing honey or agave or ?????

Made a loaf yesterday - very yummy and moist. Only change I made was to add a teaspoon of vanilla to the batter.

Ooh, I'm going to have to make this. I love Sunmaid cinnamon raisin bread, so this sounds like a good substitute. And a little powdered sugar icing drizzled on top sounds delicious, as well!
