    Default Crescent Roll Dessert

I have made this several times, and it always turns out delicious.

    2 tubes crescent rolls
    2 packages cream cheese
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla

    1/2 cup butter (margarine)(topping)
    1/2 cup sugar (topping)

    grease 9 x 13 pan, preheat oven 375 )

Unroll one tube of crescent rolls, and layer in the bottom of the pan.

Mix cream cheese, vanilla, and 1 cup sugar
and spread over first layer of crescent rolls.

Spread one can of pie filling over cream cheese layer.

Unroll 2nd tube of crescent rolls, and layer over pie filling.

Sprinkle 1/2 cup sugar over crescent roll layer, and dot with butter to finish. (I have also added nuts to this top layer and it works out well too.)

Bake about 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Oh my goodness. I should not have opened THIS thread...sounds so delicious...and it's tempting me to run right out, buy the supplies, and get home to bake! Thanks. I think.
