I make the dumplings (recipe on box) for my beef stew. Perfect to sop up all the gravy!
I have also tried several Bisquick recipes for muffins and coffee cake, but don't like the texture of them.

You may use oil, margarine, or butter. I have used softened butter, lard, or Crisco shortening. My sis has used oil.

I put about 2 cups of Bisquick in my kitchen-aid, add cooking oil a little at a time till you get little balls formed. Then I dribble it on top of my cobbler and bake. <o></o>

I read each and every post so far, but I got to ask, does anyone but me use Bisquick for biscuits? We like to make drop biscuits and leave them for a day to 'age' then serve them with sausage gravy over them. Yumm! Sin on a plate, but being a diabetic just means I can only have this once in a blue moon.

I am not a tortilla fan....store bought or homemade...now crepes, that's another story - and oh, so easy to make and can be dessert filled or meal food filled.......
