Easy Truffles!!!! Yum!!!!

Truffles are my favorite!! This comes from a chocolate lovers cookbook (a top notch one).
Chocolate and Peanut Butter Truffles
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 can (14-ounce) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 TBSP. vanilla
COATINGS:
- Finely chopped nuts,
- unsweetened cocoa,
- graham cracker crumbs,
- confectioner's sugar,
- chocolate, or
- candy sprinkles
1) In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with butter or microwave it. Stir in cocoa til smooth. Add milk and vanilla.
2) In a microwave or heavy saucepan, cook and stir until thickened and well blended, about 4 min. (stovetop). Remove from heat.
3) Chill 2 hours or until firm enough to handle.
4) Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in any of the coatings. Chill until firm, about 1 hour. Store covered in refrigerator. Enoy!!!!!! ;)
