1 1/2 tbs. unsalted butter, melted plus extra for greasing pan

Cinnamon Sugar for topping: 2 tbs. sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon/ set aside.

Whisk eggs and yolk, add sugar and blend. Whisk in milk and egg nog, bourbon and vanilla, stir in 6 cups bread cubes, mix to moisten. Let stand 20 minutes.

Pour mixture into 13 x 9 baking dish. Scatter remaing bread cubes on top, pushing down gently to submerge. Brush exposed bread w/ melted butter, sprinkle cinnamon sugar.

I had not had bread pudding till I ordered it at Appleby's about 2 years ago. It was delicious, but they don't serve it anymore. I am definitely going to try your recipe. I LOVE eggnog, so this should be a favorite.

    Thanks for sharing!
