    I live in the country. There are sometimes bugs and mice, and ALWAYS a nosy cat..................

    My favorite is chocolate cake mix with the angel food, mix the same but before putting in the microwave put half of a chocolate pudding snack size on top and microwave. Makes a molten chocolate cake, great with whipped cream on top.

    It should be kept in the fridge because mold spores can grow in the flour in the cake mix once it's been opened.

    The mix has oil mixed in and will go rancid. Is the angel food cake mix the just add water mix or the regular? There is big difference in the two.

    ok, so I figured I would try this "mug cake". Picked up an angel food and a red velvet cake mix. Mixed them together and cooked myself a mug.........WOW...it is great, put a bit of cream cheese/icing sugar mixture on top. Thanks for the great recipe, this is a sure hit in my house
