    Default Exotic Spinach Salad

    EXOTIC SPINACH SALAD

8 cups spinach, rinsed, stemmed and torn into pieces (I usually use the
organic baby spinach mixed in with some butter 'bibb' lettuce)

1 papaya, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces (I use fresh pineapple since
good papaya is impossible to find in this town and add maybe a cup or so)
1 mango, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch pieces 2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
    1 cup sliced strawberries

    Sesame and Poppy Dressing:

    1/3 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons sesame seeds
    1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    1 1/2 teaspoons grated onion
    1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    1/4 cup cider vinegar

In a blender, combine sugar, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion,
Worcestershire, paprika and oil. Slowly add vinegar until dressing is
    moderately thick.

Combine spinach with fruit. Toss with dressing and serve. I've learned if
you'll have left-over salad, it's better to add the dressing to each serving
so it doesn't get watery. Sometimes I put the dressing in a bowl and let my
guests ladel on their own amount of dressing.

This is a good dressing for any fruit salad too. I sometimes add
red grapes as well and have also added fresh blueberries.
