    I am going to try "Feathered Rice today. Sounds easy and good. I have some left over chicken to put in.

    That sounds good! Toasting the rice in the oven probably gives it a nice, nutty flavor. I'll have to try it...thanks!

    Sounds like Rice A Roni. I was taught to brown rice in butter until golden in a skillet, add broth or water to cover and them simmer until tender. That's how I cook rice. If I want fluffy rice I high simmer ( almost a boil) the rice in lots of water for about an hour. Rinse and fluff. Cooking rice for a long time makes all the starch go away making the rice very low in carbs but still tasty.
