I used to buy the jars of minced garlic, they are so convenient. But then I went back to fresh, I can taste the difference and smell the difference especially when sautéing the garlic with other veggies. I just try to be careful not to buy the garlic from China - I don't trust their food chain in general.

I keep fresh garlic in a ceramic container that I made myself. It keeps well enough as I use it quite often in cooking..

We have everything but garlic salt. We grow our own fresh. I like to roast a whole bulb and spread it on crackers or bread--I have no trouble eating the whole bulb by myself!

Hmm, never tried that. I always have fresh garlic in the fridge, use it a lot.......have one of those pampered chef garlic squeezers, better that trying to hand mince or smash on cutting board.....also have garlic powder in pantry, but usually reach for the fresh.....

I use the minced garlic in a jar that's kept in the refrigerator the most.

I grew my own garlic. When that is gone I will buy the whole garlic from the store. If I am in a hurry I might use dried garlic.

I tend to use powdered garlic, now that I found a good source for it (actually, my roomie found it - he used to work in a factory that dried garlic and onions). I keep a container handy, and I also put it in the "house seasoning", a mix of salt, pepper, and garlic - I use that for rubs, etc. Occasionally, I'll use fresh if I'm cooking a pork roast or something like that, but powdered is the norm for me.

Never use garlic salt. Use garlic powder occasionally. Mostly use the jar garlic. However, do use fresh garlic for my homemade Lasagna and other special recipes.

I buy minced garlic to keep in the fridge that I use quite often and I have garlic powder that I use quite a bit as well. Never garlic salt. Don't need the extra salt. I use fresh garlic cloves when I make dill pickles, but I rarely have any left over to use for anything else and I never think to buy any at any other time than pickling time.

    Garlic, yummmmmmmmmmmmmm
I have not tried the frozen yet. I have trouble keeping fresh garlic, "fresh". It seems to sprout within a couple of days. Do the jars keep it longer?
