Have you ever made Chow Chow? (Picadilly) Google it and you will find some great recipes.

Oven fried green tomatoes are good, not greasy as fried. I found recipe at Allrecipes.com

Another fried recipe- called Alabama scramble- green tomatoes, yellow squash, zucchini squash, red potatoes, and okra & onion. Chop all into same size pieces( or thickness) then coat with cornmeal and flour and fry in oil in a black iron skillet with lid on for half the cook time then off til golden brown. Absolutley mouthwatering!2   up!
