Default Ice Cream - Vanilla with topping? or?

    Which do you prefer ?

Vanilla ice cream with toppings like strawberries, chocolate syrup, etc.?

    or

Chocolate ice cream, strawberry ice cream, etc?

I prefer vanilla with toppings. It tastes better to me when I stir the toppings into the ice cream than the already mixed flavors.

I have been making my own Ice Cream for years now. DH wants topping on vanilla and I like it on chocolate. However he love me to make him chocolate Ice Cream the majority of the time. Now he is on a sherbet kick so that is what I have been serving him 3=x's a day. The Ice Cream maker is in continuous motion.

do you have a small ice cream maker ? Mother had a small electric one. She would set it in the freezer & because the cord was flat, the door would close. In a few hours she’d have ice cream. Gosh that’s been 40 years ago.

Vanilla with chocolate syrup, M&Ms & nuts is high on the list, but I love any ice cream.
