    1 pkg Jello one Half c cold water
    1 c boiling water ! cup vanilla ice cream

    Dissolve jello with boiling water in a 8or 9 inch metal pan.....then remove
    1/2 cup and pour into bowl........add half c cold water to jello in pan and place in freezer abt 15 min add ice cream to jello in bowl.......stir till ice cream is melted. spoon jello that mis some what set into dishes and then top with ice cream...mixed with jello chill..............

    I always put this in glass dessert dishes..a real kid favorite....I came across this when my kids were little abt 35 years ago :D

    One of the supervisors I used to work with would bring this in for every celebration. She used four different flavors of jello and would also layer them in a glass bowl. Not only colorful but good, too!
