    Default Jicama Slaw

I had more than half a jicama left after a recipe I made at Xmas so went searching and found a good recipe from Guy Fieri on the Food Network.... I don't know if I am allowed to post a link here, but we love it! It calls for 1/2 tsp red chili flakes, so I subbed 1/4 tsp cayenne.......Also... it called for 1 cup shredded napa cabbage and our shops didn't have any so I bought a prepackaged cabbage slaw with carrots and subbed that....

I love Jicama. I cut into sticks and use as a low/no carb dipper for hummus. Weightwatchers counts as zero points. Will look up the slaw recipe.
Thanks for reminding us of Jicama!

I love jicama. I grate it and use it in all vegetable salads. I also cut it in sticks, add a little lemon juice and take it in my lunch
