I thought that since warm weather IS coming soon, I'd just jot down this really quick Lemon Cake dessert that my family and friends LOVE.

    Lemon Cake mix
Follow directions on box as to mixing and baking.
Pour into well greased/floured Bundt Pan.
    Bake as directed.
    Let cool COMPLETELY!!

    Lemon Pudding Mix
    Follow directions as to mixing/making.
You want to make this while cake is cooling.

    Cool Whip

Once cake is completely cooled. Cut cake in half horizontally. Carefully remove top and spread lemon pudding on cut surface of bottom layer.
    Replace top half of cake.

    Frost with Cool Whip.
Makes an easy dessert that people love.
What I do is take lemons, slice in half and decorate around the bottom of the cake all around it. Then, when you slice the cake, everyone gets a slice of the lemon with their piece. Squeeze the lemon OVER the piece of cake, not the Cool Whip and it gives the cake just a bit more of a "tang".

    Ok,,,,now I want to make one :)

    Thanks Tirnhi,

I love lemon cake, as does one of my sons. When he was younger, he would make a lemon cake everyday. I haven't had one in a while. I will definitely try this one.

    It's REALLY easy!
A friend of mine gave me the recipe and makes it for my hubby when we come to visit. It's his favorite.

That sounds good. Here is a recipe for another lemon cake that my family loves. It is really moist.

    Lemon Sheet cake

1 package (18 ¼ ounces) lemon cake mix
    4 eggs
1 can (15 ¾ ounces) lemon pie filling

In a large mixing bowl, beat the cake mix and eggs until well blended. Fold in pie filling. Spread into a greased 15x10 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Frost with a can of cream cheese icing.
