    Default Lime cookie mix

Walmart in my local area handles a lime flavored cookie mix. Also pimk lemonade... Since I love lime I bought some boxes. They just need butter and egg to complete and then bake. So easy. I subbed butter flavored Crisco in one batch and like it a little better than w butter. It is more crumbly. No, I don't own stock in either mentioned companies, durn it!

I bought one of the lime cookie mixes and an orange cream one too. I haven't made them yet but it's good to know that they taste good. I also bought the matching frostings.

Thanks for the tip. I saw the mixes in Walmarts and wondered. Will pick up a box next time I see them. They looked pretty too.

My neighbor made one and it was great. I only found the cookie mix but don't know how to make it as a cake.

I noticed them tonight at WalMart and had a 50 cents off coupon. The ones I noticed were from Carnation.

If you want to make your own cookie mixes this recipe is good. I make up batches and store them in ziplock bags in my freezer. You can add any flavors you want. http://afewshortcuts.com/2012/09/homemade-cookie-mixes/

My neighbor used 1/4 cup applesauce, 3 eggs and 1 + 1/3 cup water - it was great!
