    Where I live in Arizona, machaca is something totally different. Here, machaca is dried beef jerky that has been ground or pounded and then reconstituted.

    This sounds like what we would refer to as green chili beef. Add a can of mild diced green chilies to this recipe--yum-yum.

    yep...sounds the same...I add the ro-tel because it has the chilis in it, but often add extra chili's as I just love them!

    Boy does this sound good. I'm always looking for easy recipes and this is so easy to throw together. I'm trying this for Sunday. Thanks for the recipe.
