Sondray: I can't wait to try this on our family at the reunion next week in California. Can this be made ahead of time and refrig. until ready to use? Maybe remove from the refig. a couple hours before ready to use so it softens? Thanks! This will be fun

Pour melted mixture into a squeeze bottle or recycled pancake or maple syrup container. The mixture does not need to be refrigerated for storage. It will be liquid at room temperature in the warm summer months, and will be hard during the winter.

To reheat the Magic Shell to drizzle on your favorite frozen dessert, heat in the microwave (~ 40 seconds twice at 80% power), or sit the closed container in a cup of hot water for about 10 minutes.

I'm trying really really really hard to loose the 25 lbs that I gained when we married (having snacks is so much fun with someone. I'd been single for too long). But since this recipe sounded SO good, I put it on the frig at work for everyone there to enjoy and tell me about it;. my theory is that if it tasts good, spit it out!! (so far7 lbs)

I have got to try this!!!! :D Here in AZ we go through gallons and I mean gallons of ice cream in our house with 5 kids and 2 addicted adults. We love Magic Shell but we go through it so fast that I hardly ever buy it. These are ingredients that we have on hand alll the time. Thanks a bunch!!!

    Hi Sondray:
I made this topping for a church social last night and everyone LOVED it. Got asked a number of times for the recipe so that's always a sure sign the item was a hit. Thank you!
