I make my own Hummus...I add all kinds of things to it though the roasted red peppers are my favorite...
I don't like Tahini (found in my local heath food store) very much...it tasted bitter.
I use just a bit of oil, garlic, pepper, salt, peppers...and it tastes great and much less expensive than the store/CostCo bought.

I have found it in Wal-Mart. Its in the section
where food from other countries is!! Its about
    $6.00 a jar. I really don't care for it. I'm using
it because I have it and won't buy more when
    its gone!!

Here's my recipe (from a lebanese lady at work):

    HUMMUS

    1 - 2 cloves garlic
2 cans of progresso chick peas - rinsed & drained
    1 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice or to taste (I like a lot)
    1 tsp. salt
Put garlic cloves in food processor & mince. Add all the other ingredients and blend together. Drizzle with a little olive oil and garnish with fresh mint before serving with pita bread wedges and/or fresh veggies.
