Or you could fix the French toast in non-stick skillet. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, cut in half or make a whole sandwich with couple slices of bacon. Paper towel to hold the sandwich. Only one skillet to quickly (1 1/2minutes ) to wipe clean. Your DGKs will think you're the greatest!!

I've been making my scrambled eggs in the microwave lately and really love them.

    2 eggs
    Dash of milk
Beat together in a 2 cup measuring cup. Microwave for 1 minute on full power. Stir thoroughly. Microwave for 1 more minute on full power. Done!

I make homemade cinnamon bread so this will be perfect for the leftovers pieces.

OH!! I would LOVE your recipe for homemade cinnamon bread. Can you share?

Wow, just made this...and I'm hooked, made it all in one cereal bow. But I think in my microwave I'll cook it just a tad longer. But this is going to be something I'm going to tell me kids about. I know my grandchildren will love it.

Some things just sound goofy, but are as plain as day. I read this and took me awhile to get the image out of my head, but I really did know what you meant. Rub a pat of butter on the INSIDE bottom of a mug. LOL

Thanks for the recipe, had never tried this before. Sounds like a great camping recipe too.

I tried this and loved it, but I used just regular bread. I decided to try it with raisin bread, bought a loaf and before I could use it for the French toast, it got all eaten. Darn! Next time I will have to either hide the bread or freeze it. LOL!

Put the egg, milk and such into the buttered mug, beat it up and fill the cup with the bread pieces. Let it sit for a while and the bread will absorb the egg mixture. Stir a little and then cook it. I'm always trying to find ways to make fewer dirty dishes.
    That's my plan as well!

Yes, I keep my raisin bread in the freezer. It thaws out very quickly 1 slice at a time.
