    Hi,
    Here's the one I have:

The Most Dangerous Chocolate Cake Recipe

    4 Tbls. flour
    4 Tbls. sugar
    2 Tbls. cocoa
    1 egg
    3 Tbls. milk
    3 Tbls. oil
    3 Tbls. chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
    1 Large Coffee Mug

    1. Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (optional) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
    2. Place mug in microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT! It will serve 2 people if you want to feel virtuous.
    3. It's the most dangerous cake recipe in the world, since in just 5 minutes you can have chocolate cake any time day or night!

While this looks like it makes a nice little dessert for one, you should be aware that the first recipe (minus the chips) tops out at 780 calories and 48 g. of fat. Something to consider if you are weight-conscious.

I adapted this recipe to use unsweetened chocolate instead of cocoa, and cut it in half (use eggbeaters to cut the egg in half). When I absolutely HAVE to have a chocolate treat.

PS - Quiltymom, I LOVE your avatar!!

You could always do a quick 3-2-1.

Mix together 1 box of Angel food cake mix and 1 box of chocolate cake mix (I use German Choc). Mix it up in a resealable bag. Then whenever you want a small sweet treat, put:

    3 Tablespoons of above mix
2 Tablespoons water (stir together in a ramekin cup or coffee mug)
    1 minute in the microwave.

It's a bit spongy, but satisfying late at night. The grandkids love to make me a "grandma cake in a cup" all by themselves.

Can always add a bit of topping or frosting.

I tried this yesterday and love to not have a whole cake setting around!

I put the ingredients in two separate containers, then I can switch from my lemon cake to a chocolate cake of I want. I loved it. I thank everyone who share ideas like strawberry shortcake and pineapple upside down cake. There is so much potent ion and I only need one minute. I am hooked. The first one above sounded yummy too but the calorie count for this diabetic was a bit high. Thanks for the 3-2-1 it is a hit.
