This is just like Appleby's Mile High Ice Cream Pie. I don't have their recipe but this is the way it's made.

In an 8 inch square pan or individual deep-sided freezer-safe bowls:

    1) start with an oreo cookie crust
    2) add chocolate ice cream as high as you want
    3) add peanut butter ice cream with caramel and toffee crunchies drizzled
    over
    4) freeze til firm
    5) when ready to serve, cut in squares, top with whipped cream and drizzle
    with caramel to finish

    :D :D bonappetite! :D

hahahahhaa! I'm drooling too -- forget the hips for now!! I just realized I don't have that recipe right. Don't pile the the choc. as high as you want but the second layer of choc. chip....duh....also, I forgot to say "add choc. drizzle to the finished top with caramel too unless you're watching the hips.....but if you want to do it right, hahaha, drop some teaspoons of peanut butter along with mini marshmallows or fluff between the two layers of ice cream for a nice surprise in the middle! And a really super finish would be to add some Kahlua to the choc. syrup you drizzle over the top!! Then we'd have to change the name to "Mile High Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Marshmallow Fluff Ice Cream Pie with Kahlua Chocolate and Caramel Syrup!!" duh...I think I just kicked this recipe up a notch!!

    ;)

p.s. keep the dust cloth handy to wipe the drool some more!!!

If you think you gained 15 lbs. already, you should read what I just wrote in the previous post after kicking this recipe up a couple notches!!! And then since I love to doctor recipes up, it's no telling how big Mile High Pie will get!! Like Tara of Gone With The Wind, "I'll think about that tomorrow."
