    These are awesome!

    CROCKPOT CHICKEN SANDWICHES

4 bone-in chicken thighs (I use boneless skinless Chicken breats only)
    4 bone-in chicken breasts
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    ¼ tsp. garlic salt
    ¼ C. italian salad dressing
    ¼ C. water
    12 hamburger buns

Place chicken pieces in crockpot. (You can remove the skin. I ALWAYS do)
Sprinkle the garlic salt and onion soup mix over the chicken.
Pour salad dressing and water over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
    Remove chicken and cool slightly.
Shred chicken from the bones and return to crockpot.
    Serve on buns

I do finally have a daughter! She's 3 now. I hope my 4 boys find some women that like to cook because my boys like to eat! They are use to their mom cooking for them. :-) My boys are 12, 9, 9, & 6.....so they have a little while to find the right wife.

Thank you for your compliments. I do like to cook. I guess it's because I never could get in the kitchen as a kid. My mom was afraid I would set something on fire! So......now I cook all the time.

We have a big meal for tomorrow for church and I'm still stumped on what to bring. I am thinking about the baked beans-they are really awesome! Probably some dressed egss-my grandmother has a lil farm and has sent me tons of eggs over! Plus a German Chocolate cake is a must.

I have another cake that is just wonderful but I don't have enough time to make it, the other one will be easy and I already have the ingredients. I will post it for you. I'll add it with the other cakes. It is a Pumpkin Crunch Cake.....oh it is wonderful!!!!

    Wonderful Egg Salad

    Boil until thick:
    1 Tb. butter
    1 Tb. flour
    2 Tb. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tb. vinegar
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 c. 1/2 & 1/2 or cream(I used milk)

    Then add:
    8 oz. cream cheese
    1 Tb. chopped onion
    8 - 10 grated hard boiled eggs
I added them right after the sauce had cooked and I chilled it overnight.

Thank you Sweeterthanwine. :-) I appreciate that. ;-) I do like to cook but I prefer to eat! HA! HA! I am up cooking a turkey right now for church tomorrow. I have already made the dressed eggs, the potato salad and a german chocolate cake. I keep thinking hummm, what else can I make. I have to watch the turkey anyway, but instead I think I'll play around on the computer or do some sewing.

Thanks for taking a peep to look at our favorite recipes. I have others that I have over on the taste of home website. I'll try and get those transferred over later.

    Have a lovely night. :-)
