Try some of the recipes that came with the crockpot. When I got my original crock in the 70's, it came with a book, and I tried many of the recipes. A couple of them have become my "go-to" recipes over the years.

This sounds really YUMMY! Since it is 94 degrees here and we do not have AC, I am using the crock pot often.
How much liquid do you mix in??? Milk? Water?

    BEEF TIPS

    4 lbs. stew meat
2 envelopes dry onion soup mix
3 small cans mushrooms--DO NOT DRAIN
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce

Put all ingredients in crock pot. Cook on low all day. Serve over rice or noodles.

You do not have to brown the meat. The soy sauce browns it for you.

I think she is saying to make the chicken and sauce then when you are ready to serve, cook rice or noodles as usual and use the chicken and sauce over them. You would not be adding the rice or noodles to the crock pot mixture... at least that's how I made it.

I use my crock pot most often for spaghetti sauce. I add the ingredients. Start it out on high until its hot, then turn it to low and cook it overnight. If sauce is not as thick as you like you can replace the lid with one of those splatter screens with a handle for the last hour or so, to let it cook down a little.

take about 6 boneless chicken breast, add quartered potatoes and carrots, take a can of cream of chicken, cream of celery and cream of onion, mix together with maybe a 1/2 can of water, just enough for the soups to mix good together. throw in crockpot and let cook on low all day
