I use this recipe and use 1 cup peanutbutter and no choc. chips. Also when I make my fudge I only use 1 cup choc. chips as I prefer mine not so chocolate--y.

Hear it's very cold in Lex. today.
I make same fudge but use the recipe on back of marshmallow cream jar. Calls for 3 cups sugar, 1&i/2 sticks butter, small can pet milk, cook to hard boil and cook 4 mnutes. Stir to keep from sticking. Add a 12 oz jar pf marshmallow cream and a 12 oz package of chocolate chips( semi sweet). fold all in smoothly then add a cup of chopped nuts and a teaspoon of vanilla.
I line my 9x13 pan with foil. When cool remove from pan and cut into squares.

Umm, sorry, what is a "stick" of butter? What is "pet" evaporated cream? Is "pet' a brand? What size is the can? What is marshmallow cream? Seems that American and Australian recipes are in different languages!

This recipe sounds delicious, but I'm the same as newaddict.......can you tell me what is marshmallow cream? Is it a brand of cream or something, also what is Pet evaporated milk? I'm assuming Pet is a brand!

A stick of butter is equal to 113.4 grams.

Can't help with the rest though, maybe someone will come on and help us out!

Pet milk is evporated milk and comes in a 5 1/2 oz can or a larger size. Pet is the brand name.
A stick of butter is 1/4 pound of butter.
Marshmallow cream (creme) is a thick marshmallow substance and makes the candy licht and creamy.
Hope this explains some of the recipe.

This is the bestest fudge in ENTIRE world. Have been making it since the late 50's. Three of us young girls called it baseball fudge, as when our team was away for games we made the fudge and listened to their games. Young college guys, sponsored by the LA Dodgers, In Rapid Cty, SD. They were called the Rapid City, Chiefs. Never missed a game. My recipe card is written in the popular green fountain pen ink of the time!

a stick of butter is 4 ounces, pet is a brand of evaporated canned milk (12 oz can) and marshmellow cream is.... well it's
hard to explain, I guess the best way is to say it is melted marshmellows in a jar(7oz) Hope this helps.
