    ONION & MUSHROOM SIDE DISH

1 Tbsp. butter or cooking oil
    1 large onion, chopped
1 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms
    1 beef bouillon cube

Saute onion in oil or butter over med. heat until transparent but not brown. Pour in can of mushrooms and add bouillon cube. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and let simmer, uncovered until liquid is reduced by half.

Serve as a side dish with steak or spoon over scrambled eggs.

Dawn, It's both good and easy. I see you're from GA, so you'll be familiar with Shoney's. It's like what they have on their breakfast bar.

Ruth & Loretta..........I see you girls adlib like I do. I seldom ever go exactly by a recipe. I like peppers.............use them a lot, esp. in Mexican dishes.

    HAPPY EATING !
