The very thing. They are great this way. I just tear the package open and let sit on the counter for a while. Then they go in a flash as we both love them.

My grands and I love to microwave them! They get big and fluffy and gooey to eat. About ten seconds or less. After Easter Walmart has always had them for .10 a box. I buy a lot to keep in the pantry for hot chocolate when it gets winter time.
I started buying the big Dove solid chocolate rabbit every store trip. DH likes the Reece's Eggs.

My husband loves Peeps!!
I love those marshmallow chocolate eggs that Russell Stover makes. It's a treat to find them every year.
I'm bummed that I missed Girl Scout cookies this year. I love thin mints.

Don't know about across the country, but here you can still get Girl Scout Cookies! We got shut down so early, maybe that makes a difference.
Check out your zip code here:

Yes, I love peeps! My birthday was yesterday, always close to Easter, so my Mom used to make my birthday cakes yellow lemon cakes with peeps on top. (And jellybeans around the perimeter!)
I do the same as Ice Blossom and open the package and set them on top of the fridge to “age”. Sometimes they make it to that point, sometimes they don’t....
I learned about “peep jousting” on an old yahoogroups I was on. You put two peeps on a plate, facing each other, and put a toothpick “lance” in each. Then microwave... they swell up and the winner of the joust is the first peep to pierce and pop the other. So funny!
Happy Easter, everyone!

I love them! No one in my family likes them. Usually I wait to buy them after Easter because they are on sale - but last year they were all gone. Even at the 4th of the July we usually get a version of Peeps - but not last year. So the minute I saw them for sale this time I bought 2 boxes. I won't eat them until Sunday - but I am not missing out this time. :-)

My husband has been doing all the grocery shopping. I have not been out in public since 3/10. Unfortunatly (spelling) he does not like them as much as I do. When my daughter was serving in Iraq, I even sent her 2 cases. So, I have been peepless this year. Also I love the chocolate marshmallow eggs, the cheap ones. I have had none of those either!!
