    This is the recipe I use. 6 Eggs 1/2c. +1 T. oil
    1-1/4 c. sugar 1/2 t. anise oil
    1 t. vanilla 2-1/4 c. unsifted flour

Mix all ingredients well. Batter will be like a pancake consistency. Heat iron and place about 1 T. of batter on each pattern. Close cover and let bake for about a minute.

This is the recipe that came with my pizzelle iron. Makes 36 - 40 puzzle

    1 3/4 cups flour
    2 tsps baking powder
    3 large eggs
    3/4 cup sugar
    1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp vanilla or anise extract
